The Art Aperitif Production team traveled to Birmingham, Alabama to conduct a first block of location shooting for "The Fifth Little Girl" September 13th - 18th. Against the backdrop of the city's 50th Anniversary commemorative events, we interviewed the Rev. John Reynolds, who worked closely with
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in the 1960s, G. Douglas Jones, the former United States attorney who prosecuted the bombers, biographer and historian Tracy Snipe, and Sarah Collins Rudolph herself. We were also given full access to follow Sarah as she attended events for the anniversary, and were therefore able to record powerful speeches by civil rights giant Joseph Lowery, a special church service with keynote speaker
Attorney General Eric Holder, and a wreath-laying with the
Rev. Jesse Jackson.
We've created a promotional video to showcase our vision of the film and - most importantly - raise the funds we need to complete this historic film. Without the completion costs, this documentary will not be made, so we urge any interested donors to please visit our
Kickstarter campaign or contact is directly at
