AP Life Production Update
The first production block for season one of AP Life was completed this week! Filming locations included a community college in Danielson CT, Palmieri's Pizza and Bella's Italian Market in Putnam, CT, and Quaddick State Park and beach in Thompson CT. It was two VERY long days of shooting but the dailies were absolutely brilliant. The cast turned in outstanding performances all around. We got a bit unlucky with a rainy and overcast day at the beach, but otherwise everything went as planned.
There are tons of photos over on the AP Life Facebook page, but here are some EXCLUSIVE shots you won't find anywhere else. Enjoy!

AP LIFE - Updates!
First up, please extent a warm welcome to Chris Dubrow, aka Cameron "The Wiz" Wizniak! Chris is a talented comedic actor who tells us that Cameron is "literally me."
We're also happy to confirm Alexis Tarasevich as "Ms. Jessica Tupelo" in a guest starring role.
Production begins Wednesday as an army of actors, crew, and extras descends on in Killingly Connecticut to transform a local school into the fictional "Central High School" of the show. Everyone is full of energy and excited to begin!
Below is the almost-final list of crew for the series (one or two may be added).

"AP Life" - New Web Series to Film this Month
July 4, 2013
Putnam, Connecticut
From Art Aperitif Productions comes a new comedy series with charming geek chic.
"AP Life" will feature an ensemble cast of up-and-coming actors. The series will pair the nerdy wit of shows like wildly popular The Big Bang Theory with the off-the-cuff realism of The Office.
"I set out to accomplish two goals with the show," explains series' writer and director Jace Paul. "First of all, to challenge the stereotype that all nerds are male. It's unfortunate that, yes, there are fewer women than men in the sciences and medical fields. But they are there. Not all women are air-headed and clueless about math and science like Penny is in The Big Bang Theory."
"Second, I wanted to take a humorous approach to the unique experience of high school without compromising on the serious issues, too. Being a nerd is funny, but it's also a tough life at that age. The bullying, the loneliness, and the stress to perform academically are also part of being a geek."
Paul drew on his own experiences as a geek in high school. "I was definitely the nerdy guy," he says. "I loved gaming, sci-fi shows, biology and math. Needless to say, I didn't get many dates for the dances."
Though the production crew is still in the casting process, several of the lead roles have been filled.
Taking the role of Aubrey Hassel, the new girl who's just moved from Missouri to New England, is Taylor Kudalis. A New Hampshire native, Kudalis hopes to bring a helpless innocence and gentle compassion to Aubrey." Taylor also has the right sense of humor for the comedic role. "Science check, math check, relationships well that's another story!" she says of her character.
Katie Sour will play Reagan Desjournais, the school's queen bee and nemesis to Aubrey. She's outwardly self-centered and cut-throat when it comes to staying on top. But there's greater depth to her, and that's something the series will explore in the future. As she says, "Being cast as Reagan in AP Life is such an amazing opportunity for me and one that I am so grateful for! Reagan is your typical high school "mean girl" but I plan on bringing a depth to her that makes you want to know more about her."
Rounding out the nerdy team are Elizabeth Percy and Emelia March, who play Ellie O'Grady and Ocean Fine respectively. Percy is looking forward to lending her extensive comedic resume to the Ellie character, who's very intelligent but insecure and condescending. Ocean's artistic, hippie personal is a great fit for March, who prefers dramatic roles to straight comedy.
"AP Life" will premiere in September 2013, just in time for the new school year.
All video auditions should be sent to aperitif.art@gmail.com.
